Balance®

Balance® 47 is a hydrophobically modified acrylic resin designed for superior performance in low-VOC aerosol and pump hair sprays containing water. It mitigates water-related issues such as increased viscosity, larger spray particle size, initial curl droop, extended drying time, and reduced hold and stiffness. Its unique composition and molecular weight distribution enable effective performance across a broad range of hair spray VOC levels, preventing actuator blockage and ensuring efficient hair coating.

Balance® CR is an acrylate emulsion resin designed for low-VOC aerosol systems. It provides excellent hold and formulation flexibility, making it ideal for meeting regulatory requirements or reducing costs. This resin is particularly suitable for hair care applications, such as hair spray, mousse, hair creams, and styling products. It offers benefits such as corrosion inhibition, strong hold, film formation, and enhanced sprayability. Balance® CR is also Clean Water Act (CWA) Certified, Clean Air Act (CAA) Certified, and compliant with SARA 311/312. It is not listed in California Proposition 65. The INCI name for Balance® CR is Acrylates Copolymer, and it is available in liquid form.

Balance® RCFg is an alkali-swellable acrylic polymer designed for creating crystal-clear hair gels. Serving as both a fixative and rheology modifier, it simplifies formulations by replacing two ingredients with one. It offers exceptional versatility, functioning alone or in combination with Carbomer, fixative polymers, and rheology modifiers to achieve various textures and rheological properties.
