Claytone®

Claytone® AF is a powdered rheology additive based on organophilic phyllosilicate, designed to impart thixotropic flow behavior in non-polar to medium-polarity systems. It is highly effective in wood coatings, powder coatings, and printing inks, offering excellent filler settling resistance and preventing pigment settling. Additionally, it provides good leveling and is compatible with wood surfaces. As a rheology modifier, Claytone® AF is a member of the phyllosilicates chemical family.

Claytone® APA is a rheology additive in powder form based on an organophilic phyllosilicate, designed for polar to medium-polar systems to generate thixotropic flow behavior.

Claytone® 40 is a rheology additive in powder form based on an organophilic phyllosilicate, designed for non-polar to medium-polar systems to generate thixotropic flow behavior.

Claytone® HT is a modified montmorillonite designed for use in aliphatic/aromatic, aromatic, and polar/aromatic systems with medium polarity. It acts as a thixotropic rheology modifier, providing flow control and anti-settling properties. Suitable for solvent-based paints, stains, enamels, primers, inks, and similar applications, it ensures reliable and reproducible rheological properties. A polar activator is required to achieve full efficiency.

Claytone® MPZ is a highly efficient rheology additive based on organophilic phyllosilicate, designed for medium- to high-polarity systems to impart thixotropic flow behavior. It is particularly effective in powder coatings, wood coatings, and printing inks, including silk screen printing inks. Key features include anti-settling, gloss reduction, filler settling resistance, pigment settling prevention, and sag resistance. This powder-based rheology modifier provides excellent thixotropic properties and is compatible with wood surfaces. Claytone® MPZ belongs to the phyllosilicates chemical family.

Claytone® HY is a rheology additive based on an organophilic phyllosilicate, designed for solvent-borne systems and powder coatings.

Claytone® TG is an organoclay powder used as a rheology modifier. It complies with California Proposition 65 and is TSCA-exempt in the USA. Additionally, it is listed on the DSL in Canada and meets TSCA requirements in the USA.

Claytone® VZ is a rheology additive in powder form based on an organophilic phyllosilicate, specifically designed for polar and medium-polarity systems to generate thixotropic flow behavior.

CLAYTONE® PS 3 is a powder rheology modifier with applications in gelcoats and laminate composites. It is characterized by its high thixotropy and resistance to syneresis, making it suitable for use in coatings and composites. The product meets the Bombardier BAMS552-008 OEM specification.
