Bionix® ZP48 is a 48% solution of zinc 2-pyridinethiol-1-oxide, a broad-spectrum preservative and dry film mildewcide. It is used to protect textiles, flooring adhesives, aqueous latex architectural paints, industrial non-marine paints and coatings, joint compounds, glazing compounds, wood fillers, styrene-butadiene rubber, thermoplastic resins, latex emulsions, clay, mineral pigments, guar gum slurries, drywall, gypsum, and adhesives for food packaging.

Product Application

Bionix® ZP48 can be added with good agitation to ensure uniform distribution any time during the formulation procedure, by pouring or by use of metering equipment. Bionix® ZP48 is best added after any heating stage or when the product has cooled below 40°C.

• For the control of odor causing microorganisms on textiles made of natural and synthetics fibers, such as polyester and blends.
