Special features and benefitsCeraflour® 988 is a micronized wax with outstanding dispersibility in solvent-borne and radiation-curable systems. The product can be incorporated under extremely low shear forces. The additive improves the scratch resistance and abrasion resistance and has a matting effect.
Recommended levels
1-3 % additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation.
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. The optimum dosage should be determined by application-related test series.
Incorporation and processing instructions
The additive is preferably incorporated into the coating at the end of the production process with a low shear rate.
