It has shown to have performance in the formulation of low VOC architectural paint formulations at various gloss levels.Foam Blast® 4205  may be incorporated into latex and acrylic resins that are utilized in these types of paint systems as it will remain shelf stable.

Chemical Characteristics

Foam Blast® 4205 is a silicone-based copolymer and is APEO free with low VOC (17.9 g/l), suitable for use in water borne chemistry.

Addition Levels

Addition of 0.1 - 2% Foam blast 4205 with agitation is suggested. Foam blast 4205 may be added during the let down stage and may also be added in the grind.
