Its components meet FDA regulation 21 CFR 173.340 (a)(1) or (a)(2) with no limitations, other than GMP. This product is listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) as a defoamer for organic food production. Consideration for other FDA-permitted uses would require further evaluation.
