Formulation Guidelines
  • If used ~2% at a pH of 5.5, GreenWax SL can improve viscocity.
  • Ideal for the emulsifcation with oil components of different polarities
  • Used to stabilize the emulsion against the deteriorating effects of surfactants (like short-chained additives.)
Product Function
  • The anionic nature of GreenWax™ SL makes this product very versatile throughout all personal care application categories.
  • It combines well with other emulsifiers to stabilize emulsions.
  • The lactylate component is highly compatible with the skins amino acid structures.
  • This results in a desirable, silky skin feel. A high HLB value provides a mild cleansing effect and can improve the foaming capacity of other surfactants.
  • The lipophillic part will retain small amounts of oil on the skin, acting as a re-fatting agent.
