Binder System
This veil can be produced with any of Superior Huntingdon Composites’ binder systems. This product can be designed to be compatible with polyester, VE, epoxy, phenolic, urethane and acrylic resin systems.
Visual Appearance
This veil is a white in color, is a highly-consistent continuous filament glass fiber mat, and is supplied in rolls with trimmed edges. Each roll is significantly free of tears, holes, dirt, grease, foreign materials and non-uniform glass clumps or strands.

LAYER-PAK® is a technique whereby several layers of surfacing mat are wound onto a single roll. Depending on mil thickness LAYER-PAK rolls may be specified to contain up to five total layers.
Packaging & Availability

All mats are wound onto 4" (10.2 cm) I.D. heavy-duty cardboard cores. Each roll is individually contained within a polyethylene sleeve, placed on a 44” (11 cm) x 45” (11.25 cm) x 3.5” (8.89 cm) wooden pallet and stretch wrapped for protecon during shipment. Typically there are 4-6 rolls per skid. Material 36-inch (91.4 cm) wide or less may be double-stacked on one pallet. Optional packaging methods are available. Additonal charges may apply.

Storage & Handling
- Storage Condition
For best performance results, it is recommended that Surmat® products are stored at temperatures between 10° C and 35° C at a relative humidity below 85%. Surmat should remain in the original packaging materials unitl just prior to use.
