Thioplast®

Thioplast® EPS25 is a liquid, diglycidyl-ether end-capped polysulfide pre-polymer designed for specialized applications requiring high performance and durability. Thioplast® EPS25 is a liquid thinner from the polysulfides chemical family, used in various industrial applications.

Thioplast® EPS35 is an aliphatic epoxy-terminated polysulfide polymer designed for use with conventional epoxy resins. It is ideal for heavy-duty adhesives and coatings, offering excellent primerless adhesion, low-temperature impact resistance, crack resistance, and enhanced chemical and corrosion resistance. This liquid polymer is compatible with epoxies and is used in epoxy sealants, adhesives, and 2K coatings for metal and concrete. Thioplast® EPS35 provides oil and thermal shock resistance, along with excellent formulation flexibility.

Thioplast® G1 provides high flexibility, elongation at break, and chemical resistance, making it suitable for aerospace and industrial applications. Thioplast® G1 is a polysulfide polymer known for its pronounced flexibility at low temperatures and high elongation at break, combined with excellent chemical resistance.

Thioplast® G112 provides high flexibility, elongation at break, and chemical resistance, making it suitable for aerospace and industrial applications. Thioplast® G112 is a versatile grade of polysulfide known for its pronounced flexibility, even at low temperatures, and high elongation at break. Its combination of flexibility and chemical resistance makes it an ideal choice for aerospace and industrial applications. Formulators can adjust properties like pot-life, tensile strength, adhesion, and elongation at break by selecting compatible plasticizers, fillers, and additives.

Thioplast® G4 is a low-viscosity polysulfide polymer valued for its chemical resistance and low-temperature flexibility, making it ideal for high-performance coatings across industries. It is used to protect metal and concrete surfaces, floors, and pipelines. Formulators can customize properties such as pot life, tensile strength, adhesion, and elongation by incorporating compatible plasticizers, fillers, and additives. Viscosity, branching, and SH content can be adjusted by blending with other Thioplast® grades to achieve tailored performance.
