- Key Features
- The additive has a hydrophobic effect and improves antiblocking. It increases surface slip, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance and provides a soft feel effect.
- Intercoat adhesion must be verified in multi-layer systems.
- Aquacer® 539 can be used as a mold release agent in fiberboard and chipboard production. he best results are achieved when used as an internal release agent in PMDI-based binder systems.

Technical Details & Test Data
- Processing Instructions
- The additive should preferably be incorporated into the coating at the end of the production process at a low shear rate. Mix well before use.
- The additive should be added after boiling and separating the wood fibers via the blower line.
Storage & Handling
- Storage Information
- Temperature sensitive. To be stored and transported between 5 °C and 35 °C. Mix well before use.
