- Product Applications
SMC, BMC, pultrusion
Special Features and Benefits
Wetting and dispersing additive for LP/LS and highly filled epoxy formulations. Also suitable for viscosity stabilization in BMC.
Recommended Use:- LP and Class A formulations
- LS formulations
- Epoxy systems
- Pultrusion
- Viscosity stabilization BMC
Recommended Levels
- 1-2% additive (as supplied) based on the fillers for wetting and dispersing.
- 0.5-2% additive (as supplied) based on the resin for viscosity stabilization in BMC.
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
Incorporation and Processing Instructions: BYK-W 995 should be added to the resin mixture prior to homogenization and the addition of the fillers/pigments.
