- CASE Ingredients Features
- Key Features
- The additive deflocculates pigments by means of steric stabilization.
- As a result of the small particle sizes of the deflocculated pigments, high levels of gloss can be achieved and the color strength is improved.
- Transparency and hiding power also increase and viscosity is reduced.
- In this way, the flow characteristics are also improved and higher pigment loading is possible.

- 15 - 20% (Inorganic Pigments), 65 - 80% (Carbon Blacks), 20 - 45% (Organic Pigments), 4 - 6% (Titanium Dioxides)
- Processing Instructions
- For optimum performance, the additive must be incorporated into the millbase before additon of pigments.
- The resin and solvent components of the millbase are pre-mixed and then the additive is slowly incorporated while stirring continuously.
- Do not add the pigments until the additve has been fully distributed.

- The treatment of some organic pigments can negatively influence the effectiveness of the additive.
- In these cases, tests with the untreated pigment of the same type may be successful.
