Elotex® Titan8100 is a redispersible polymer powder based on a cationically stabilized copolymer of acrylates, designed for high-strength mortar applications. It acts as an organic binder to enhance adhesion, cohesion, and workability in building materials like ready-mix dry mortars. This hard powder is particularly beneficial for high-strength mortar formulations, providing excellent workability, high cohesion strength, and strong adhesion on various substrates. With its monomer composition and core-shell design, Elotex® Titan8100 is highly resistant to saponification and offers fast redispersibility, making it ideal for applications requiring a short mixing time.

Safety & Health

Safety Information

Powder processing: Elotex® Titan8100 can be blended in all commercial mixers with other dry additives to produce cement-based finished products in powder form. Significant temperature increases caused by strong shear forces should be avoided. All hydraulically and non-hydraulically curing dry mortars used with Elotex® Titan8100 can be easily mixed with water before application.

Packaging & Availability

Packaging Information

Standard packaging: 25 kg paper sacks with polyethylene liners. Other types of packaging, such as Big Bags, are available on request.

Storage & Handling

Storage Information

Store Elotex® powder in a cool, dry place in original packaging at temperatures not exceeding 25 °C and process within six months after the date of delivery. Avoid storing Elotex® powder under pressure, in damaged sacks, in contact with moisture or heat, or in sacks left open for an extended period, as this may result in blocking of the powder. If the product is stored for longer than six months after the date of delivery, users are advised to evaluate properties required for the intended use.
