- Application information
- Functional CI-427 is permitted in food-grade lubricants at levels up to 0.5%. If only rust protection is required, a starting level of 0.1% is recommended for normal protection (ASTM D665A) and 0.2% for salt water protection (ASTM D665B).
- Functional CI-427 may be used with antioxidants, viscosity improvers or other additives customarily used in these applications.
