Ricon® 130 is a low molecular weight polybutadiene homopolymer, used as a non-extractable plasticizer in peroxide- and sulfur-cured elastomers. Amphomer® is a hard-holding acrylic polymer widely used in hair styling aids, offering versatile performance. At typical solids levels, it provides a firm hold and excellent style retention, while reduced solids levels deliver a soft, natural hold with good setting properties. Featuring carboxylate and amine functionality, the polymer forms a three-dimensional matrix through ionic associations and hydrogen bonding, ensuring excellent humidity resistance, adhesion, and solubility.
