Application information
  • Metasol® TK-100 is off-white to tan powder of thiabendazole.
  • Metasol® TK-100 has low volatility and is both pH and temperature stable. Metasol® TK-100 also has a low water solubility and a good fungicidal efficacy. When combined with another fungicide active, Metasol® TK- 100 provides long term dry-film protection.
  • Metasol® TK-100 will not adversely affect product physical properties or performance and should not impart odor or color to most final products.
  • The appropriate dose of Metasol® TK-100 depends on several factors: raw materials, microbial load, pH, estimated storage time. Good manufacturing practices can help optimizes the Metasol® TK-100 effectiveness.
  • To obtain reliable and reproducible results, homogeneous distribution in the materials to be protected must be ensured by taking suitable measures in production (stirring, agitating, etc.).
  • As with any product, the use of this product must be tested (including field testing) prior to incorporating into finished product.
