Preventol® A 12-TK 48 is compatible with storage tanks made using carbon steel, stainless steel (304 or 316), aluminum, and high density polyethylene (HDPE). As with any product, use of the product mentioned in this publication in a given application must be tested (including field testing, etc.) by the user in advance to determine suitability.

Preventol® A 12-TK 48 is a microbicide containing a mixture of propiconazole and IPBC in solvent solution. Preventol® A 12-TK 48 has a very broad spectrum of activity against mold, wood discoloring fungi, and wood-rotting Basidiomycete strains. The product is effective in most applications between 0.05 to 2.0 % dosage level.
