Ti-Pure™ R-101 Titanium Dioxide Pigment is a rutile titanium dioxide pigment produced via the chloride process. This fine, dry, white powder is specifically designed for high-temperature plastics applications, offering excellent dispersibility and minimal volatility. It is particularly suitable for use in extrusion and extrusion coating processes. Ti-Pure™ R-101 is ideal for applications such as pipes, made from polymers like linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and other polyolefins. It provides excellent opacity and dispersibility while maintaining low volatility. The pigment is NSF approved and complies with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). The key chemical components are titanium dioxide and propylidynetrimethanol, within the titanium compounds family.
