BYK-035 is a VOC-free, mineral oil-based defoamer containing silicone, designed for use in aqueous emulsion paints and high-gloss emulsion systems. It is APE-free and offers shear resistance, making it highly effective in preventing foam formation in plasterboard coatings and waterborne paints. Classified under the chemical families of paraffins and mineral oils, BYK-035 enhances the performance and quality of coatings by controlling foam, ensuring smooth application, and improving the overall finish.
