Dermacryl®

Dermacryl® 79 is a hydrophobic, high molecular weight, carboxylated acrylic copolymer known for its alcohol solubility. It forms moisture-resistant films, making it ideal for water-resistant products. Additionally, Dermacryl® 79 helps retain active ingredients at the application site by providing resistance to abrasion and rub-off.

Dermacryl® AQF is a polymer known for its excellent in-vivo water resistance and skin feel. It serves as an effective water-resistant film former in emulsion sunscreen formulations. Suitable for both spray emulsions and traditional creams or lotions, it performs well in systems containing organic or inorganic UV actives, or a combination of both. Additionally, UVA and UVB filters can be incorporated, enabling the formulation of broad-spectrum protection systems.

Dermacryl® C is a liquid chemical listed on various chemical inventories, including AICS (Australia), DSL (Canada), ENCS (Japan), IECSC (China), ISHL (Japan), KECI (Korea), NZIoC (New Zealand), PICCS (Philippines), TSCA (USA), and TCSI (Taiwan). It is not listed in California Proposition 65.

Dermacryl® X is an acrylates copolymer designed to provide water and rub-off resistance, making it ideal for high SPF systems in both inorganic and organic emulsion-based sunscreens. It enhances the aesthetic appeal of formulations with low viscosity, a light feel, and water repellency. This film-forming ingredient is easy to disperse and compatible with a variety of skincare applications, including moisturizers, body lotions, face creams, and sunscreens. Dermacryl® X simplifies the formulation process as it requires no heat or neutralization. It is suitable for leave-on applications, offering superior performance and rub resistance in creams and lotions.
