Vikoflex®

Cargill Vikoflex® 2502 bio-based plasticizer is a bio-based primary plasticizer for flexible PVC, offering an alternative to petroleum-based plasticizers in various applications.

Vikoflex® 7190 Epoxidized Linseed Oil is recommended for plasticization and stabilization of PVC homopolymer and copolymer formulations. It is ideal for use in rigid, semi-rigid, flexible extruded, calendered, and molded compounds, especially those requiring high oxirane content and efficient acid scavenging. This versatile product acts as a plasticizer and acid scavenger, ensuring improved processability and long-term stability in PVC-based applications.

Vikoflex® 4050 is a low-temperature octyl epoxy ester plasticizer designed to enhance heat and light stability in vinyl formulations. It features good wetting properties, low viscosity, and excellent flexibility at low temperatures. This product serves as both a plasticizer and an acid neutralizer, improving processing and performance. It is particularly effective in pigment dispersions, rotation castings, and slush molding processes. With its low odor and good heat and light stability, Vikoflex® 4050 ensures reliable performance in various applications.

Vikoflex® 7170 BULK epoxidized soybean oil provides efficient plasticization and co-stabilization for PVC flexible and semi-rigid compounds, thermoplastics, rubbers, and elastomers. It functions as an acid and mercaptan scavenger, viscosity modifier, and reactive diluent in epoxy, polyurethane, UV-curing resins, acrylic and PVA emulsions, solvent-borne alkyds, and polyesters. It is FDA-approved for specific food contact applications with limitations.
