- Properties and Application
- Loxiol® G 12-40 is a mold release agent for the injection molding of impact modified polystyreneand themoplastic polyurethane. In ABS, SAN and poleolefines it acts as a flow improver, and it canbe used as a slip agent for ABS. For the manufacture of S-PVC, Loxiol® G 12-40 can be used as adisperion additive.
- At the usual dosage of 1 %, the suitability of Loxiol® G 12-40 for S-PVC for transparent applictions isnot affected. Loxiol® EP 55 is also used as an internal lubricant for PVC. In concentrations up to 2 %,used during suspension polymerization, it leads to the formation of pre-lubricated S-PVC types.
