Loxiol® G 16 is a partial fatty acid ester of glycerine, used as an internal lubricant in plastics and elastomers. It is highly compatible with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and is suitable for processing methods such as extrusion and calendering. This liquid form lubricant enhances processing efficiency by reducing friction and improving flow characteristics. Its excellent compatibility makes it ideal for various PVC applications.

Storage and Handling Information

It is recommended to store Loxiol® G 16 at room temperature and to protect the product against the effects of heat and frost. Due to its pour-point, the product may deposit and it becomes solid at approximately 0 °C. This physical property is specific to the product and will be reversible when heated under mixing. It has no influence on the effectivity or application properties. If stored in original sealed packaging, Loxiol® G 16 should be stable for at least 24 months from the date of manufacture.
