Loxiol® G 40 is a neutral wax ester with excellent compatibility, making it suitable for a range of applications in plastics and elastomers. It functions as both an internal and external lubricant, as well as a release agent. This product is compatible with various polymers and resins, including polyacrylates and styrene acrylonitrile (SAN). Loxiol® G 40 is particularly used in the production of rigid PVC, providing efficient processing properties. It is available in liquid form.

Storage and Handling Information

It is recommended to store Loxiol® G 40 at room temperature and to protect the product against the effects of heat and frost. Loxiol® G 40 tends to cloudiness when stored below 9 °C and becomes solid at approximately 7 °C. This physical property is specific to the product and will be reversible when heated under mixing. It has no influence on the effectivity or application properties. If stored in original sealed packaging, Loxiol® G 40 should be stable for at least 24 months from the date of manufacture.
