Omyacarb® 3 - SY is a high-purity, very fine, wet ground natural calcium carbonate. This product is widely used as a filler and pigment in various industrial applications, including masterbatches, joint fillers, plaster, and render. It is suitable for plastics & elastomers, particularly in applications involving Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). Omyacarb® 3 - SY is compliant with several regulatory standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and FDA 21 CFR certifications (174.5, 178.3297, 175.300). It is also certified under the Clean Air Act (CAA) and Clean Water Act (CWA), Section 307 and 311. The product is white in color and available in powder form. The chemical family includes calcium salts and carbonates, and the chemical name is calcium carbonate. It is compatible with PVC resins and used as a filler in CASE ingredients, as well as a pigment in industrial additives.
