It features good insulation properties, a low glass transition temperature, and hydrophobic characteristics. This material also serves as a processing aid, resin, and plasticizer in encapsulant applications. It contains 111 ppm of 3,6-di-tertiary-butyl-4-methylphenol (CAS# 128-37-0) as an antioxidant.
