It improves scratch resistance, provides a soft-feel effect, and offers matting properties. The additive is particularly suitable for radiation-curable formulations.

BYK-3455 is a fluorine-free, silicone-containing additive designed to improve substrate wetting and leveling in aqueous systems and solvent-free UV coatings.

BYK-1799 is a VOC-free, silicone-containing defoamer for solvent-borne, high-solid, and solvent-free systems. It is particularly suitable for 100% UV systems, offering extremely high defoaming action, and is especially recommended for matted and pigmented systems as well as printing inks.

BYK-UV 3510 is a silicone-containing surface additive designed for radiation-curable overprint varnishes. It enhances leveling and substrate wetting, improving the overall finish of coatings. This product is ideal for varnish applications and cures under radiation. It is classified under the chemical family of polydimethylsiloxanes and is available in liquid form. Additionally, it complies with chemical inventories in Canada (DSL).

BYK-347 is a silicone surfactant for aqueous coatings, printing inks, and overprint varnishes. It significantly reduces surface tension, improving substrate wetting without increasing surface slip. It is suitable for systems without co-solvents and offers excellent recoatability in thin layers, particularly in automotive coatings.

BYK-022 is a VOC-free, silicone-containing defoamer for aqueous coatings, printing inks, and adhesives. It is also effective against microfoam.

Aquacer® 531 is a wax emulsion based on modified polyethylene designed to improve surface properties in aqueous coatings, printing inks, and dry lubricants. It also functions as an anti-caking additive for thermoplastics and hot-melt adhesives.

BYK-UV 3505 is a crosslinkable surface additive for radiation-curable systems. It enhances substrate wetting, scratch resistance, and easy-to-clean properties.

BYK-361 N is a polyacrylate-based surface additive for solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings, UV-reactive printing inks, overprint varnishes, and powder coatings. It improves leveling, prevents craters, and is suitable for ambient curing plastic systems. This is the solvent-free version of BYK-358 N.

BYK-1719 is a VOC-free silicone defoamer for aqueous printing inks and overprint varnishes, offering a spontaneous defoaming effect and high efficiency. It is glycol-free.

BYK-333 is a silicone-containing surface additive for solvent-free, solvent-borne, and aqueous coating systems, as well as printing inks, adhesive systems, and ambient-curing plastics. It provides a strong reduction in surface tension and is compatible with acrylates, epoxies, and polyurethanes. This product enhances substrate wetting, prevents cratering, and offers good antiblocking properties. It is in liquid form and belongs to the polydimethylsiloxanes chemical family.

BYK-307 is a silicone-containing surface additive for solvent-free and solvent-borne coating systems, printing inks, and adhesives. It strongly reduces surface tension, ensures excellent substrate wetting, prevents cratering, and increases surface slip. It is a solvent-free alternative to BYK-306.

BYK-331 is a silicone surface additive for solvent-borne, solvent-free, and aqueous coatings and printing inks. It provides a medium reduction in surface tension and a medium increase in surface slip.

BYK-019 is a silicone-containing defoamer for aqueous pigment concentrates used in coatings, printing inks, and overprint varnishes. It prevents foam during grinding and provides long-term and shear stability, making it particularly suitable for resin-free grinds or slurries.
