In-vitro testing confirms additional skin benefits, including a reduction of TEWL and upregulation of collagen I. It is most effective between pH 4.5 and 5.5.

Celquat® SC-240C is a surfactant-compatible, water-soluble cationic polymer for personal care products. This product improves gloss, clarity, and smoothness, with additional benefits such as static reduction, lubrication, and conditioning. It is suitable for skin cleansers, face washes, body washes, hair shampoos, conditioners, and styling products. Celquat® SC-240C is available in powder form, soluble in water, and compliant with various global chemical inventories, including TSCA (USA), AICS (Australia), ISHL (Japan), and IECSC (China). The INCI name is Polyquaternium-10. It is certified under multiple environmental and safety regulations, including NFPA, CERCLA, and Clean Water Act (CWA)

Balance® 47 is a hydrophobically modified acrylic resin designed for superior performance in low-VOC aerosol and pump hair sprays containing water. It mitigates water-related issues such as increased viscosity, larger spray particle size, initial curl droop, extended drying time, and reduced hold and stiffness. Its unique composition and molecular weight distribution enable effective performance across a broad range of hair spray VOC levels, preventing actuator blockage and ensuring efficient hair coating.

Balance® CR is an acrylate emulsion resin designed for low-VOC aerosol systems. It provides excellent hold and formulation flexibility, making it ideal for meeting regulatory requirements or reducing costs. This resin is particularly suitable for hair care applications, such as hair spray, mousse, hair creams, and styling products. It offers benefits such as corrosion inhibition, strong hold, film formation, and enhanced sprayability. Balance® CR is also Clean Water Act (CWA) Certified, Clean Air Act (CAA) Certified, and compliant with SARA 311/312. It is not listed in California Proposition 65. The INCI name for Balance® CR is Acrylates Copolymer, and it is available in liquid form.

Dermacryl® 79 is a hydrophobic, high molecular weight, carboxylated acrylic copolymer known for its alcohol solubility. It forms moisture-resistant films, making it ideal for water-resistant products. Additionally, Dermacryl® 79 helps retain active ingredients at the application site by providing resistance to abrasion and rub-off.

KahlWax 6290 Berry is a pale wax derived from the berry fruit peels of the Rhus verniciflua tree, composed primarily of glycerol esters of C16-18 fatty acids. With a partial melt at temperatures below 30°C, it provides a silky, soft feel similar to classic emollients. It creates soft textures, enhances sensory characteristics in O/W emulsions, and serves as an excellent additive for oleogels. Ideal for lip gloss and mascara formulations, it also enhances pay-off in lipsticks and improves break resistance in pencil preparations.

KahlResin 6723 MB Shorea Robusta + Octyldodecanol is a yellow, high-viscosity liquid made from Shorea Robusta resin and Octyldodecanol. KahlWax 6702 Natural CL Substitute is a natural, vegan blend of wax, resin, and stabilizers originally formulated as a candelilla wax substitute. Dystar D&C Red 22 is a red powder dye (Acid Red 87, CI 45380) used in color cosmetics (foundation, lipstick) and skin care (body lotion). It is FDA Compliant and listed in regulatory inventories like AICS, DSL, EINECS, and TSCA. It functions as a dye in leave-on and stick products.
