Bioban™

Bioban™ 200 Antimicrobial is a low VOC antimicrobial formulation designed to protect paint films and coatings from surface mold, algae, and bacteria. It contains 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, the same active ingredient as Rozone™ 2000, offering broad-spectrum activity with improved ease of formulation. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

Bioban™ O-45, previously sold as SKANE M-8 Microbicide, is a highly effective industrial mildewcide recommended for coatings, latex and solvent-based paints, semitransparent and solid stains, building materials, including elastomeric roof and wall coatings, caulks, sealants, joint cements, spackling, stucco, grout, wallpaper pastes, adhesives, aqueous adhesives, tackifiers, and leather. BIOBAN O 45 provides broad-spectrum protection against fungi (yeast and mold) during manufacture and storage and offers dry-film protection against mold and mildew after application. It is soluble in most organic solvents and oils but only slightly soluble in water.
