Lactimon is a specialized solution consisting of a partial amide and alkylammonium salt of a lower molecular weight unsaturated polycarboxylic acid polymer, combined with a polysiloxane copolymer. This formulation functions as a wetting agent and dispersant, providing enhanced performance in various coating applications. It is particularly beneficial in wood coating, coil coating, and solventborne coatings. Lactimon improves slip, leveling, and offers excellent dispersion characteristics. Ceraflour® 1051 is a PTFE-free, micronized modified polyethylene wax additive designed to enhance abrasion resistance, improve scratch resistance, and increase surface slip in aqueous, solvent-borne, solvent-free, and UV coating systems. Its function and efficiency are comparable to typical PE/PTFE wax additives.
